About me (Sam Dresser)
I have spent the majority of my life teaching, training, managing people, and playing music. Whether it was teaching private music lessons through high school and college, or facilitating corporate training, I've always had a passion for music and education. I started by working at Apple in its retail stores, going from sales, to support, and then training. After spending nearly 10 years working there, I moved on to work for School of Rock, the world's leading music education franchise. Currently, as the Chief Innovation Officer at School of Rock, I oversee all of the development of School of Rock's music education curricula and teaching technology tools and platforms.
I grew up in Wheaton, IL and earned a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies from DePaul University. I am married, have five children, Claire, Ryan, Vivian, Josh, and Caleb, and currently live in the Chicago suburbs.
